"The Future Begins Here"

Benjamin Logan Elementary is a great place to learn.  We have approximately 650 students, grades kindergarten through 4th grade, and 75 staff members all growing and learning together each day.  We take pride in our school; students, staff, parents, and community members. Thanks to the involvement of all, BLES is rated an "Excellent" school building! Parents and other community members volunteer here on a regular basis, a service for which we are very grateful.  Everything that is done at the Benjamin Logan Elementary is done for the benefit of children.  I feel our future is promising because the future truly begins here!

We welcome your comments. You may contact us at 4560 CR 26, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 or 937-592-4838.

Benjamin Logan Elementary reading teachers, Paula Naragon and Jackie Thompson, with Willard R. Daggett, Ed.D., Founder and Chairman of the International Center for Leadership in Education, at the 2013 OAASFEP Title I/Federal Programs Conference on March 20 in Columbus, Oh. Dr. Daggett presented on leadership in and around the Common Core State Standards and next generation assessments. The teachers learned how schools must make a fundamental shift in both what is taught and how it is taught as students will be assessed on standards that are far more rigorous and much more applied than in the past. All teachers will need to match their instruction to those higher levels of rigor and relevance to prepare all of our students for college and career readiness.
